Arcade Fire

As discussed, Arcade Fire are going on a massive tour in 2014 that comes to NYC on August 22 and 23 at Barclays Center. Since we last spoke, they've expanded the tour, and it now includes a third date happening at Barclays Center on August 24. Tickets for the first two nights are still available, and the third one is not on sale yet but you can check back at that same link for updates. Updated dates are listed below.

Their new album Reflektor is already ending up on a bunch of year end lists. Is it on yours? Watch the video for its single "Afterlife," along with the updated list of tour dates, below...

Yes, definitely smart to add a third show when you haven't sold out your first two.

And no one still cares. However, it will be nice to get 5 buck tickets day before show on StubHub.

So stupid. I can't wait to get my tickets for $25.

This Reflektor album blows. So boring. Used to be a fan. Seems like a cruel joke.

Hey guys, don't forget to check out Warped Roadies tonight at 11/10c on Fuse. I hear the REAL show happens off stage!

i smell a super-cheap show

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2013 10:44 AM

I haven't even made it to the end of Reflektor because it is so boring, but it'll be hard to pass up a $5.00 show. If I'm still alive by the end of August that is.

5 DOLlAR TICKETS, NIGHT OF!!!
That's definitely worth showing up, staring at the stage, and then walking the eff out.

Just because the ticket entrance is 5 bucks from StubHub, you have to pay the ninety bucks for a tux rental inside Barclays.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2013 11:03 AM

why in gods name would they add a third night when they have not sold out the first two?

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2013 11:50 AM

^sounds like a franchise..

I hope wax/my/stachee is opening with her tales of a 7th grade nothing featuring her slapdash bangs trimmed by a broken hummus platter. My dream folks, let hear your's...

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2013 1:53 PM

11:03, that's actually a brilliant idea. If Arcade Fire were smart, they would offer tux rentals inside the arena. How many stupid lemmings would pay for that?

Amazing what one grammy can do to a band's ego.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2013 2:13 PM

The ego was there long before the grammy

somebody tell me about the spat between arcade fire and flaming lips

the new album is terrible but I like the fact they added a third show. that'll help drive down prices. I'll spend $90 for two tickets for me and my girl but 90 for one is LOCO

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2013 12:32 AM

I still don't get they hype. They're not bad, but I don't get why they are hyped as the biggest band in the world. To me, they're just a bunch of nerdy white people.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2013 7:35 AM

^racist...why do they have to be "nerdy white people"?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2013 2:05 PM

Its the creativity and subject, They haven't progressed. Metric for instance but not limited to them, they've changed incredibly between their modern albums. They've grown up.
