FACT

I always look forward to FACT's year-end list, which you can count on to be chock full of (but not limited to) forward-thinking electronic music, pop, R&B and rap, and it's one of the lists where I'm usually guaranteed to find something new. They just put out their 50 Best Albums of 2013 list, and it has all of those things, from one of the biggest name pop stars of the year to some of the most obscure stuff. It's also got one of the least obvious #1s I've seen on lists this year.

Check out the whole thing below...

Kind of shocked they didn't put Jon Hopkins - Immunity on there considering he did an amazing mix for 'em after it was released.

This list is a joke, #12- Jai Paul Leaked Demos. How long was that poorly mastered thing? 15 minutes? I get that you guys at FACT are really vibin to "Jasmine", but come on.

Also, DJ Koze did one of the best FACT mixes of the year. Where is Amygdala?

No wonder I don't read FACT

In what universe is Sky Ferreira better than Kelela?

Posted by Anonymous | December 13, 2013 12:05 PM

fuck yeah that sky albums rocks yall suckers for backlash

Finally a publication up on Omar S.

That Ron Morelli album or the Autechre aren't album of the year worthy in any bit. Its also funny how they put the 100% galcher mixtape down, but they don't include the album by Daniel Avery or the mix by Jon Talabot. The galcher mix is good, but not a best.

Sky F is like 'c level' Pink, you marks.

SKY HAS BEEN VINDICATED.

Posted by Anonymous | December 13, 2013 1:45 PM

hell yeah Lil Ugly Mane

Posted by Anonymous | December 13, 2013 2:21 PM

The fuck is this noise? How could they completely ignore 2013's best album ever: The Best of Nickelback Volume 1.

Posted by Brian Farrelly | December 13, 2013 2:38 PM

Lol. Seriously you guys? Nickelback is NOT a very good band.
I mean, at least they play they're instruments and everything (not like so-called (c)rap "music", right?). But still, try listening to some real rock like The Foos, or something good like them.

Further proof the English have poor taste in music.

All of these lists are missing the new ones by Future of the Left, The Drones and Cass McCombs. wtf?

Posted by Anonymous | December 13, 2013 3:47 PM

YES SKY #2 HACK THE PLANET

Posted by Anonymous | December 13, 2013 4:05 PM

Who the fuck is Dean Blunt

Posted by Anonymous | December 14, 2013 1:30 AM

Dean Blunt hasn't been this good since "You're Beautiful," shut the fuck up

Posted by Anonymous | December 14, 2013 1:31 AM

Any list with Drake and Kanye on it is worthless.

I thought he was referring to the show he did on NTS radio, when he said that. If you listen to that recording, it makes more sense.
