First Brooklyn Bowl announced that Black Star (Talib Kweli & Yasiin Bey) would perform tonight, then that was cancelled and it was announced that Yasiin (fka Mos Def) would play tonight (12/17) at Highline Ballroom. Well, now that show is not happening either. Says Highline's website: "This show has been postponed due to circumstances beyond Yasiin's control. New date TBA. Refunds available point of purchase."

UPDATE: Though Mos Def and Black Star's shows are cancelled, Talib Kweli & Friends are now set to play Brooklyn Bowl tonight (12/17) with a live band and special guest Jean Grae. Tickets for tonight's show are on sale now. Let's hope this one actually happens.

Kweli is kind of a bore, but at least he's not actively an asshole like Mos Def.

Talib was promoting the Black Star show as well as his own show. The cancellations was all Mos Def's fault. Their beef has gotten childish. This isn't the first time he's done this at a Black Star show.
