Mutoid Man (Cave In/Converge) played Saint Vitus, playing Brooklyn warehouse party on Saturday

by Wyatt Marshall

Mutoid Man, the no-nonsense rock outfit from Cave In‘s Stephen Brodsky and Converge and All Pigs Must Die‘s Ben Koller, had their record release show for Helium Head at Saint Vitus with MANALIVE and Summoner tonight (12/13). The duo, who due to a geographical divide between members aren’t likely to play often, are hanging around NYC to be the secret headliner at a BYOB warehouse party at The Omega Order in Brooklyn on Saturday (12/14) (94 Bogart Street). They’ll be playing with Colony, HO9909, Imperial Triumphant and Vygr. Details are available at the event’s Facebook page.

Helium Head, Mutoid Man’s debut, actually came out back on November 29–it’s a serious ripper built on a thick foundation of riffs and distorted vocals. Listen to it in full below…
