Didn't Paste rank She & Him Volume 1 as the top record of 2008?

I don't know why, but I trust this list much more than the previous ones.

This is actually not a terrible list.

So I'm curious what exactly is the "trust" that you speak of with this, or any for that matter, list? Do you put blind faith in these lists and allow them to dictate what you need to listen to? Interesting.

Haim should be 1...long live the influence of Shania & Amy Grant

Any list bookended by Phosphorescent and Dr. Dog is for the granola eaters at the Park Slope co-op.

Any list with Haim on it is a failure. Those chicks are so fucking cheeseball.

Posted by Anonymous | December 2, 2013 11:42 AM

Uhhhh...where the fuck is Nick Cave's Push the Sky Away?

Posted by Anonymous | December 2, 2013 11:46 AM

let's be honest...any of us could wail out of tune (so badly reverb can't fix it), beat a distorted guitar, and sing lyrics straight from a mentally stunted 14 year old's diary

No love for Arcade Fire on any of these lists.
