The Hold Steady at Pier 26 in July (more by Tracy Allison)
Hold Steady

The Hold Steady are planning a new album and "endless touring" for 2014, and though details are still forthcoming on most of that, they did just announce their first eight tour dates of the new year. This run, which they're calling the "Nights Go On Forever" tour, includes a Brooklyn show on February 6 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, which, like the Pennsylvania date the next day, doubles as one of the band's 10 year anniversary shows.

Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (12/13) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (12/11) at noon, and if you purchased the 10th anniversary show pledge in the band's new PledgeMusic campaign then you're already set to go. (That particular pledge is all gone but there's still plenty more and the band are at 208% of their goal as of this post.)

All upcoming dates are listed, along with a video, below...

The Abbey Bar in Harrisburg is a bigger version of an Iron Hill Brewery

Hopefully they've gotten their shit together after that last dump of an album.

2:36 from what I've heard they haven't.

Congrats! 10 years of unoriginal, barband mediocrity.

What have you done, 5:24? Nothing that lots of people enjoy? Oh, got it.

Their 2010 album was one of their best efforts. Can't wait for this.

Ah, the old "what have you done?" defense. Still useless as ever.

Who are all you people that troll around on these message boards? This is a thing?

Bring back Franz.

Saw one of their songs on Conan & didn't believe this was a real band. First thing that came to mind...a younger version of Randy Newman trying to resurrect some odd form of ska/grunge´╗┐
