Toronto goth pop artist Trust (who was the duo of Robert Alfons and Austra's Maya Postepski, but now appears to just be Robert solo) has announced that he'll release the followup to debut LP TRST with a new album, Joyland, on March 4 via Arts & Crafts. He hasn't released any music from it yet, but you can watch a trailer for the album, below.

Trust has also been announcing some shows, including one in London and another in NYC happening on January 24 at Glasslands. Tickets for the NYC show are on sale now.

All currently announced dates are listed, along with the trailer, below...

how is two shows with a four month gap in between a tour? you go play one show, then go home, then play another show 120 or so days later. People have rowed boats across the atlantic ocean in less time than that, so unless he's going on a boat cruise, it's not appropriate to call this a "tour". I might as well call my upcoming trip to the rest room a concert, if he can get away with that. Then I can schedule all my bathroom breaks, and say, "I've got my tour booked."

^where does it say that this is a tour you fucking idiot?

up above it says, "Trust--2014 Tour dates," and it lists two concerts four months apart with nothing in between, before, or after. You might benefit from learning how to use that scroll bar on the right side of your web browser GUI. If you use a mouse, there is usually a little wheel between the two buttons that can make the parts of the web page outside the view of the web browser window appear within the browser window. If you have a keyboard, you can use the keys with little arrows on them that point up or down. If you have a touch pad, there sometimes is a column of dots on the right side that you rub your finger tip up and down on to accomplish the same thing. If you have a touch screen, you have to hold it upside down and rub it on your buttocks vigorously, while chanting, "display upwards, idiot", or "display downwards, idiot". Hope this helps.
