Chris & Cosey at MoMA PS 1, 1/5/2014 (via @rosiebojangles)
Carter

As you may know Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti are in town for a couple shows, having played the Throbbing Gristle-related X-T-G "live remix" show at MoMA PS1 this past Sunday (1/5) and will play as Chris & Cosey at Santos Party House on Saturday (1/11) which is sold out. Did you got to PS1? How was it?

If you slept on tickets for Santos, you've got another chance to catch them, as "Carter Tutti play Chris & Cosey" at new Bushwick venue Radio Bushwick on Sunday (1/12) with John Fell from Excepter on DJ duties. No advance tickets, its $20 at the door.

Have any of you been to Radio Bushwick yet?

^uh what?

Has anybody been to Radio Bushwick? Well, this is the first non-Battle of the Bands caliber even they've had, so I'd guess NO.

I was extremely disappointed by the PS1 show. They clicked around on their laptops playing pre-recorded tracks and didn't seem that into it. C&C are still one of my favorite artists but the show was really bad.

It's funny that you would mention John Fell from Excepter as a DJ for the Sunday show but make no mention of Excepter as a supporting act on Saturday's show. Your website has a stupid name.

If people pay to see you live, at least do something, anything. I've been to quite a few shows lately with people sitting in front of their laptop pressing play. This isn't a concert, this is a listening party.

I got sick of these computer on stage "shows" in the 1990's. If venues that want to have this type of music gave a damn, they would put the computer geeks in the DJ booth and have dancers on stage, or at least an oversized chair and a twister game or trampoline. a hj booth would add a touch of class, too.
Chris and Cosey have this big history to them, lots of music, but I don't want to pay to see them sit at a computer or do their laundry or whatever. They don't deserve attention or support for this.

The Photo Has The Wrong Date But Love BV Always

I love when they pretend to be focused intensely on "playing" something on their laptop. Yeah right assholes.

I just saw the Chris and Cosey set last night in Chicago, and it is NOTHING like this photo right here. Totally worth seeing if the show on Sunday is not sold out. Chris was busy with his equipment and Cosey was singing and playing various instruments, dancing and having fun, she even commented on how much fun she was having.

The Chris and Cosey show will be totally worth it if you're on the fence. It was worth the trip to Chicago. It was the polar opposite of this photo.
