Creative Adult

San Francisco punks Creative Adult put out a promising EP last year with Bulls in the Yard, and they're now set to follow it with their debut full length, Psychic Mess, on February 25 via Run for Cover. In terms of modern punk bands, fans of Ceremony, Pissed Jeans, and The Men will probably dig these guys. Like those bands, Creative Adult bring in decidedly non-punk influences; in their case it's heavy atmospheres that fall somewhere between post-punk, shoegaze, and Sonic Youth. It makes a lot of sense that they chose Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Efrim Menuck to produce the record. You can hear some of it for yourself with the video for new single, "Deep End," below.

Creative Adult also have a bunch of dates coming up, but unfortunately none in NYC. All of those are listed, along with the video, album artwork and tracklist, below...

This is a wonderful tracklist for everyone and I am sure this event will be something hard to forget to fans.
