Attending a show might not be the worst way to spend New Year's Eve in NYC, but there's no escaping wasted revelers. The New Years Eve DIIV, Nothing, Ratking, Potty Mouth and LODRO show at Baby's All Right was packed to the brim with party people by the time DIIV took the stage to countdown to midnight (with bubbly), and subsequently delivered an hour-long set which was peppered with new material as well as a cover of Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone."

I didn't catch LORDO's set that kicked off the night, but Potty Mouth sounded good with their indie/punk jams and, as usual, Nothing was loud as hell. (Perfect Pussy were also originally supposed to play but ended up playing at Acheron instead.) It's a shame most people dipped out before Manhattan rap trio Ratking took the stage at 1AM, because those three teenagers packed a serious punch with their angry, energetic performance. The place filled back up at 2AM, though, for a surprise performance from Blood Orange's Dev Hynes who played a set  exclusively made up of songs left over from his Cupid Deluxe sessions. Pictures from the whole night are in this post.

How did you spend your New Year's Eve? More pics from Baby's All Right below...

42 decks...

Buy from him or buy from me,
I'm the one with the decks baby can't you see?
I ain't got no future nor a life like D,
But I know what a junky and lover ought to be,
I know what a junky and lover ought to be

Forty two decks spread before you
That's what I said, now
Decks, Decks who call to you
Just go ahead, now
One has a badge in my face
That's some bread, now
Another said "tazer or mace?"
Ain't in his head, now

Four-piece drum kits and identical guitars / haircuts/aesthetics make the baby Jesus sad. Does anybody remember laughter?

Commenting, a spokesperson from ERA said: “We believe that this will be a very informative session for the public and for those who would like to learn more about the current HDB market, especially given the new policies and rulings in the property sector.”

So put down the shovel and go the fuck to school! What's stopping you? I went to school, nobody paid for me, other than a few grants that are available to anyone. I got no women's only scholarships, just an assload of student loan debt. And I worked a full-time job while I was at it. I'm sorry you're grandpa got shot, but it was the same bullshit, "women are weak and can't serve" crap that sent him and not your grandma, who incidentally was probably at home riveting a battleship. Newsflash, genius, feminists are against a male-only draft too. Clearly you really need to go to school.

Devonte Hynes, Lapalux, Arca, & Amon Tobin are all the Mozart's, Beethoven's of our generation.
