jeremy jay

Jeremy Jay just released his fifth album, Abandoned Apartments, via K Recs. He's always had a penchant for '80s synths but here dips into icier textures than we've heard from him before. I wouldn't say he's gone goth, but you may have heard some of these keyboard sounds on Cure records. It definitely fits his mildly glam style. You can listen to the whole album via Rdio and stream "Graveyard Shift" below.

Jeremy will be on tour this spring and while there are still some TBAs in the dates, his two NYC shows are set: May 2 at Cake Shop and May 6 at Glasslands. No advance tickets for Cake Shop, but the Glasslands show is on sale now.

All tour dates are listed, along with the song stream, below...

Uh.... No this is not anywhere near David Bowie. Jeremy Jay is good but no where near Bowie. This guy sounds more like the lead singer of Interpol. Better comparison. :)
