I'm actually going to have to show up for this this year

Are there actually good deals on records at this?

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2014 11:41 AM

11:41 no. It's just nerds walking around with their portable record players.

Go to the Other Music/Generation Records instead.

The ripoffpods

Good-Great deals from the labels, stuff like $20 2xLPs that go for ~$30 in stores.
Warp got a bunch of my money last time.

nothing special from the shops. Nice finds sometimes from the used dealers.

yeah it's good at the label booths because you get the records at cost (or around that), which def makes mexican summer stuff more affordable.

Support local record stores..
not that shitty Rough Trade store that keeps getting way too much hype here.

Wow, hard to figure out which is the worst ever "Brooklyn" label, Mexican Summer-- thankfully none of their $18 EPs are worth hearing, let alone owning-- or Captured Motherfucking Tracks...

Maybe Mike should go back to ** making **, Blank Dogs were goddamn visionary!!!
