Jordan Lee's art pop collective Mutual Benefit celebrated the vinyl re-release of their 2013 debut LP, Love's Crushing Diamond, via Other Music this week (1/7), and part of that celebration included performing one of its tracks, "Advanced Falconry," plus two songs from their 2010 Spider Heaven EP, for the seventh installemnt of our BV Studio Sessions recorded at Butler Recording in Bushwick. Big thanks to Jessica Amaya, Albert Amaya and Chris La Putt for making this look (and sound) great. You can check out the video at the bottom of this post.

Mutual Benefit also have a previously mentioned tour coming up that includes NYC shows happening on February 7 at Mercury Lounge and February 8 at Rough Trade. Since we last spoke, Leapling have been added to both of those shows, and tickets for both are still available.

All tour dates are listed, along with a few more pics from the BV Studio Sessions recording, the video, tracklist, and links to the six previous installments of the series, below...

Those opening false harmonics set the perfect atmosphere for this song's expansion.

The guy doing the walls in my room told me to check him out. I don't regret it :)
