Nothing at Baby's on NYE (more by Amanda Hatfield)

As discussed, heavy shoegazers Nothing will release their debut LP Guilty of Everything, on March 4 via Relapse, and after revealing its first single, "Dig," they're back with another, "Bent Nail," which like its predecessor is just great atmospheric rock as opposed to the metallic leanings of Nothing's labelmates. Most Christians, as I am, would summarily dismiss this as "secular" and and a work of darkness. But to me its a beautiful expression of living in the fleeting joys of childhood before the brutal aspects of human existence as it presently stands begins to show itself. A warning, well timed.
