Okta Logue

German psych-rock jammers (of the Pink Floyd variety) Okta Logue were last on our side of the Atlantic this past fall, and they've since announced that they'll come back this March. Upon their return, they'll play SXSW and they'll make stops in Brooklyn before and after for free shows at Knitting Factory on March 7 and March 21. The first Knit show is with Marianne's Wish and the second is with Such Hounds. Both are midnight shows. All currently announced dates are listed below.

On their last tour here they filmed a video for the song "Chase the Day" off their Tales of Transit City LP. The video splices together clips of them all over country, and it makes its premiere in this post. You can watch it, along with the list of tour dates, below...

and you're holding on to things that you have done. but where are you when all your work is done? and you're acting like you're always on the run, but linger on and try to see the sun. the wind blows through the meadows and the sun is waiting for the ones who'd like to come. and even if you're always on the run, linger on and try to see the sun.
