Whatever it is 2012's will be better.

Let me guess - a lineup of mostly lame indie bands that no one will give 2 shits about 2 years from now.

Everyone looks so happy to be there. Even that deformed guy up front.

I'm worried about Outkast. They haven't announced any new festivals this week, and I'm worried they're not gonna make the 40 they promised. Can some call them and make sure they're OK?

Shellac headlining premiering their new album

The website you pretend to be cooler than (yet still check everyday) is throwing a three-day fest for $110 and you complain? Cheap, bitter clowns who are salty b/c Gov Ball sucks and you can't attend P4k. Geeks!

Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2014 2:30 PM

Outkast, obviously... Unless they're playing Lollapalooza.

whitest crowd award

Pitchfork is actually well run and pretty fun compared to most of the other festivals. While there's always a lot of crap on the lineup that will be forgotten, they bring in a bunch of good acts every year, and prices are reasonable (110 while Gov Ball is 250). Went on a whim a few years ago and had a really good time.

Yeah pitchfork is VERY chill. Its always easy to find a place to stand and see the band even after they started. But the downside is that because its so chill there is very little dancing or even clapping or even moving. Its kinda weird but probably one of the best fests i have been to.

Black metal or death! No hip hop spear chuckers or hipster faggots allowed!

I like how they incorporate live elements into their sets like the vocals and some of the percussion.
