Radiator Hospital at Glasslands earlier this week (more by Dylan Johnson)
Radiator Hospital

We just caught Radiator Hospital playing an excellent set in Brooklyn at Glasslands on Monday (1/6), as part of their ongoing tour with Potty Mouth. After the run with Potty Mouth ends, singer Sam Cook-Parrott is going on a solo tour for a couple of weeks, and not long after that he'll return to NYC for a Double Double Whammy label showcase at Shea Stadium on February 12 with Generifus, Frankie Cosmos, Crying and Quarterbacks. It's not clear at the moment if RH will be playing solo or full-band at that show, but stay tuned for more info.

Double Double Whammy will also be releasing Radiator Hospital's Mall of America EP on cassette soon, and Forward Records is putting it out on 10" vinyl. Sam is also promising at least two releases for 2014, so we have that to look forward to too. Meanwhile, if you haven't already, you can stream the Mall of America EP below.

Crying will also play the same venue a few days earlier when they open the previously discussed You Blew It! / Prawn show at Shea on 2/8.

As for Frankie Cosmos, she just played Death by Audio last night (1/7), and ahead of that show we mentioned that she'll be releasing her first full band album, Zentropy, on Double Double Whammy. The album follows multiple solo releases on bandcamp, and its first single is "Owen," which first appeared as a rougher track called "I Love My Brother Owen" on her 2012 album, Thanks For Everything. The new version features harmony vocals with Porches frontman Aaron Maine, who also drums in Frankie's band. You can stream the new track below. Frankie also has another local show happening sooner on February 6 at Silent Barn with Big Ups (who have other dates), Ovlov (ditto) and LVL UP (ditto again).

All Radiator Hospital dates are listed, along with all streams, below...
