She "broke the rules"??

How? By signing a $2.5 million major label contract with Songs Music Publishing?

What a rebel!

So, I actually listened to the first couple songs off of her album this morning because she's wearing this shirt and because she's booked so high on the Coachella line-up. I must say, "WTF is this garbage?" I guess it's better than Haim or Chvrches, but still!

After rebecca gayhart killed a person, america longed for somebody who kind of looks like her to sing us gentle pop songs

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2014 5:29 PM

This makes me sad...her, not them.

If you want to date wealthy men and beautiful women with high net worth, ideally you must know where these people hang out. Don’t know where to start? ++++ WealthyPeople.Org ++++ The easiest way to go would be meeting them online.

A stylist at photo shoot gave lorde the shirt bought vintage for 75 dollars

Posted by Anonymous | January 16, 2014 1:56 AM

Isn't Lorde, like, 16? Why does she look like St. VIncent's mom in this photo?

Posted by Anonymous | January 16, 2014 2:06 AM

Can't wait for the Lana Del Ray backlash against Lorde when all these hipster blogs claim they were duped into thinking a conglomerate manufactured "star" was home-grown "talent".

>>A stylist at photo shoot gave lorde the shirt bought at hottopic.com for 12 dollars

fixed

Posted by Anonymous | January 16, 2014 10:21 AM

904, is anyone acting like she is 'home grown' talent?

Posted by Anonymous | January 16, 2014 12:56 PM

lorde is good if you're into pop. way better for kids than any of the disney channel stuff. that said someone who'se had a major label deal since she was 12 isn't breaking any rules.
