Madonna > Source Tags & Codes

Worlds Apart > Madonna + Source Tags

This would have been killer news around 10 years ago when the original line up was still intact.

"Worlds Apart > Madonna + Source Tags"

Worlds Apart is indeed underrated.

Thought, I'd get instantly eaten alive for the pro Worlds Apart opinion. But, I think it's their finest hour. Along with Tao of the Dead and Source Tags.

Album is great but they were terrible live last time I saw them. Conflicted.

How many original members are left in the band? Just Conrad and Jason?

Posted by Anonymous | January 28, 2014 6:13 PM

No Neil no deal.

^ Catchphrase McGee, weighing in from nowhere.

Hello!

Saw these guys at Maxwells recently. The show was pretty awesome, however it was a bit sloppy at times. Fun all around.

I agree Worlds Apart is their best record also.

Best,
F. Moron

Sucks when bands lose key members and then carry on as a crap band with a brand name. Time to put this diseased kitten down.

Jason and Conrad are the original members. Their live shows are not as explosive as they were in the '90s/early-00s, but their albums are always good and changing.

"saw them on the source tags tour with explosions in the sky opening for them at bowery. also secret machines as well"

I don't remember Secret Machines at that show, but I probably wasn't aware of them back them. Another good one was Sunn O and ToD during CMJ.

decent album, but when i saw them a few times around when it came out, they were a complete mess live.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2014 11:12 AM

They were terrible at Irving Plaza in 2003.

I always preferred Madonna to ST&C also, but that's another great album, the eleanor's tomb ep was pretty good, I think I liked tao of the dead too - really like the intro, I guess I'll go back and retry Worlds Apart but I remember being really disappointed when it came out though I remember liking that song 'rest will follow' - like that these guys are playing weekends in NYC though
