Brooklyn post-hardcore "supergroup" UnWed (mems. of Hot Water Music, Primitive Weapons, Small Brown Bike) formed not long ago, played their first show at Saint Vitus in December, and announced that they'd put out their debut single on No Idea in early 2014. That single came out this week (1/7) and features "Made Of" on the a-side with "Pope" on the flip. Both tracks can be streamed below.

UnWed have also announced that they'll return to Saint Vitus on January 23 for another show there. They'll be joined by some other strong local acts, including Jersey punks Banquets and Ramones-inspired Nuclear Santa Claust. Pagan Girls are on the bill too, and tickets are on sale now.

Nuclear Santa Claust also plays night 1 of the Don Giovanni showcases at Death By Audio on February 6 with Tenement, Night Birds, Vacation and The Groucho Marxists (tickets).

Flyer for the show, along with those song streams, below...

The release is really very inspiring for those listeners who wanted to be one of them.

Great video, amazing song. This was the first Unwed Mothers track I heard, so it's cool to see it also be the first music video you've released. I hope you make more videos soon.
