Browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows. Here are some highlights…

Jherek Bischoff, David Byrne, Zola Jesus, Sondre Lerche, Greg Saunier of Deerhoof, Mirah @ St. Ann’s Warehouse
Amanda Palmer/Parenthetical Girls collaborator Jherek Bischoff has a two night’s stay at St. Ann’s Warehouse where he’ll be performing his album Composed in full with an impressive line-up of guests, including the one-and-only David Byrne. This is the first night and a few tickets are still available as of this posting.

Endless Boogie, Dan Higgs, Josh Wildman @ Union Pool
One of NYC’s perfectly named bands, these guys lay down the boogie riff and put the pedal to the metal. Tonight’s the first week of their January residency. Tonight’s show also features Lungfish’s Dan Higgs, and DJ/gadabout Josh Wildman doing his “amazing freak out squelching guitar ramblings.”

Lucius, Matt Sucich @ City Winery
Dual-vocalled Brooklyn indie pop collective, who last played NYC with two sold-out Bowery Ballroom shows in December, makes another hometown appearance at City Winery tonight.

Robert Glasper, Jason Moran, Ravi Coltrane, Bilal, Eric Harland, Alan Hampton @ Town Hall (Winter Jazz Fest)
The annual Winter Jazz Fest continues tonight at Town Hall with the jazz-hop piano stylings of Robert Glasper, the smooth neo-soul of Bilal, John & Alice Coltrane’s son Ravi, and more.

Champagne Jerry @ Joe’s Pub
Brooklyn rapper Champagne Jerry continues the rollout for his upcoming album, For Real You Guys, with a new song that he’ll debut at his monthly Joe’s Pub show tonight. Last month’s show included Beastie Boy Ad-Rock. He probably won’t be at this one, will anyone else?

Ian Isiah, Benja, Silverbird, Rising Sun Allstars Quincy Vidal @ SOB’s
Le1f/Mykki Blanco collaborator Ian Isiah makes the kind of futuristic R&B we’ve been seeing a lot of lately, and he headlines this SOB’s show tonight.

Tonstartssbandht, Cool World, Mother Tongue, Jerry Paper, Sunflower Bean @ Silent Barn
Rhode Island is representing at this show with the catchy sludge of Cool World and noisy/nasaly Mother Tongue — plus Montreal/NYC experimental duo Tonstartssbandht as headliners.

Big Terrific @ Cameo
Max Silvestri hosts the free weekly comedy show in the back of Williamsburg’s Lovin’ Cup. No word on who’s playing tonight, but you can check Max’s Twitter.
