Blondie, who you'll soon also get to catch at the Barclays Center played a free show in Times Square as part of Super Boulevard on Saturday. Did you check it out? A short video clip is below.

They sounded as good as ever. New tunes were good too. Debbie Harry didn't seem to know much about the Super Bowl, but who cares. Nice free show, & the best weather of the week, so far.

Super Bowl Boulevard was just a bunch of corporate sponsored crap. Blondie was the only cool thing out there.

you are dumb if you think that the superbowl could be anything besides corporate sponsored. until you have the ability to get a national pro football championship to happen with just kickstarter and etsy, you have no right to complain.

358 OK, I'll complain about you being a douchebag!

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2014 4:13 AM

you have that right, get in line with all the others. Or better yet, meet me in real life and complain about me to my face. Maybe I will change for you if you complain enough in the right way.

The idiots who "stumbled" on to a Blondie concert on Super Bowl Boulevard (and then tweeted about it)should get their fat stupid faces out of their smartphones and start paying attention to the world around them. Enjoy the game...

What's wrong with stumbling onto the concert? Supposed to be following #SuperBowlconcerts or #whereisblondieplaying ?

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2014 11:32 AM

it's okay to lash out a lil bit darlins, but at the end of the day you must fall in line with our corporate overlords #sxswdiiver

Debbie Harry is 68. She's right behind Mick & Keith. Back in the CBGB's days she was the hottest woman in America.

Pretty much all I am going to do today is lay around and post videos from YouTube. First up is Blondie, 'Heart of Glass' (1978). I had such a crush on Debbie Harry in 1979.
