Highasakite releasing debut LP (stream 2 tracks), playing SXSW and NYC in March

Norway’s Highasakite will release their debut album, Silent Treatment, on March 4 via Propeller Recordings. You can stream “Leaving No Traces” here and watch the music video for “Since Last Wedesday” (and their Norwegian Grammy performance of the same song) below.

Like they did last year, Highasakite will be heading to North America for SXSW so if you’re going, look for them there. They’ll also, like last year, stop in NYC on the way back, playing Mercury Lounge on March 17 with fellow Norwegians Team Me. Tickets for that show are on sale now. More tour dates are promised for later in the spring — stay tuned.

UPDATE: Highasakite are now touring with London Grammar, show has been canceled.
