Kevin Drew

You already heard "Good Sex" (and the Dave Newfeld remix and saw the video) from Broken Social Scene co-founder Kevin Drew's upcoming solo album, Darlings, and he's now back with another LP cut, "Mexican Aftershow Party." Check it out below, via Pitchfork. Darlings is out 3/18 via Arts & Crafts.

As discussed, Kevin plays an album release show in NYC April 3 at Bowery Ballroom, where he'll be joined by longtime collaborators Charles Spearin and Ohad Benchetrit (Do Make Say Think, Broken Social Scene), Dean Stone (Apostle of Hustle), Dave Hamelin (The Stills, Eight and a Half), and Marty Kinack (Broken Social Scene). Tickets are still available.

Kevin - Your first solo album was fun, energetic, and better than most BSS stuff. This is just a tragic attempt at staying relevant. I think you might have waited too long.

In memory of Harold Ramis I leave you with one of his best lines. From Groundhog Day, "Morons you missed your bus."
