Duo de Twang

As mentioned, Les Claypool's Duo de Twang are playing two late 'Sleep No More' shows at the McKittrick Hotel this week (2/26 & 2/27). Thursday is sold out, but tickets are still available for the Wednesday show, and you now have one more chance to catch the Primus frontman while he's in town. Earlier in the evening, before the second McKittrick show (2/27), Duo de Twang will be playing a very intimate show at a secret Brooklyn location. BrooklynVegan is presenting the show, and we'll reveal the location on Thursday morning (we can say it's at 7 PM). Tickets will only be available at the door, and will be extremely limited due to the size of the room, but if you want to go for free, we're also giving a pair away. Details below.

If you can't make the show, it will be streaming live via at 7 PM EST. Updated Duo de Twang tour dates, which also include SXSW, are listed below.

For a chance at winning a pair of tickets to see DUO DE TWANG AT A SECRET BROOKLYN LOCATION: Be 21 or older, and either tweet something that includes both @BrooklynVegan AND "Duo de Twang" in the tweet, or send an email to BVCONTESTS@HOTMAIL.COM with the subject line "DUO DE TWANG". Include your first and last name in the email. We'll pick a winner at random and contact them with more details. If you enter by email, it will not be shared with anyone else. Good luck!

I don't know if I am ready for that kind of intimacy. Let's get to know each other better first okay?

And in Saint Vitus he sucked some sausage

The idea of these "secret shows" already sounded corny enough, but one involving another one of those boring jam-band side projects of his (if it's by Les, and it ain't Primus, don't bother) sounds even less exciting than it already wasn't.

^ They're not the Pains of Having Rectal Bleeding or any of those waify limp-wristed indie saccharine, that's for sure.
