It's been about three years since we've heard from London's Let's Wrestle but the band are back, having released their eponymous third album last week (2/10) via UK label Fortuna Pop. The band's previous shambolic maelstrom has been tempered, now favoring a gentle jangle not unlike early Go-Betweens or Crooked Rain-era Pavement. While that rambunctiousness is missed, the cleaned-up sound actually fits very well with singer Wesley Patrick Gonzalez's self-effacing, witty and romantic songwriting. The two singles released so far -- "Rain Ruins Revolution" and "Codeine and Marshmallows" -- have been ace, and you can watch the video for both below.

No word on a U.S. release/label for the new album. You may remember Let's Wrestle's last album, 2011's Nursing Home, came out on Merge.
