Matt Pond PA put out a few great albums before releasing emblems which was not a great album.

Measure which came out in 2000 was what first got me into MPPA, than in 2002 the green fury was another album i thought was awesome.

I was an early fan during this time period but quickly got turned off by emblems and the later albums, I'm glad the band got success cause when I got to see them at the middle east in boston in 2002 or 2003 it was clear they weren't doing well success wise, but they lost me as a fan by the time the nature of maps came out. It just wasn't that good and every subsequent release just wasnt as good as those first two i mentioned.
