Lillingtons

Montreal punk festival Pouzza Fest is returning to multiple venues in downtown Montreal from May 16-18 to this year. The lineup includes The Hold Steady (who play NYC tonight [2/6]), Dillinger Four, Chixdiggit, The Lillingtons, The Menzingers, The Front Bottoms, Placeholder, Reagan Youth, The Holy Mess, The So So Glos, Gates, Night Birds, SNFU, Tim Barry, Amanda X, Russ Rankin (of Good Riddance), and many more. 3-day passes are on sale now. Full lineup and flyer below.

The Lillingtons (whose members since formed Teenage Bottlerocket and Stabbed In Back) were initially active during the '90s, associated with other Ramones-inspired bands like The Queers and Screeching Weasel. They briefly reunited for a new album in 2006, and finally hit the stage together again at Riot Fest Chicago in 2013. They've also got two Northeast dates before Pouzza Fest, including one in NYC on May 16 at Knitting Factory with related band Stabbed In Back. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (2/7) at 10 AM.

Speaking of, The Queers will be in NYC soon too. All dates are listed, with some streams and the Pouzza lineup, below...

I've never had a pouzza, so I will invent my own recipe:

Ingredients:
pie crust
poutine

Preparation:
stuff the pie crust full of poutine, top with a little extra cheese and sauce, and bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for fifteen minutes. let it cool off after taking it out of the oven so you don't burn your tongue.
