Broken Bells @ Webster Hall - 3/7/14

Broken Bells

Broken Bells, the collaborative project between Shins singer James Mercer and super producer Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Grey Album, etc), released their sophomore album, After the Disco, earlier this year, and just brought their tour in support of it to NYC for a show at Webster Hall this past Friday (3/7). Unlike their intimate Baby's All Right show in January, where they played three songs, at this larger show they played a full set which included most of the new album and most of their 2010 self-titled debut as well. Au Revoir Simone opened the show and also joined Broken Bells on stage at the end of their set to sing with them. Pictures of the show are in this post. They continue, with BB's setlist, below...

Who needs a savings account when you have a trust fund?

All I wanna do is to thank you
Even though I don't know who you are
You let me change lanes
While I was driving in my car

I wish I was one of these moron posters who are never going to get older. That must be cool.

Your sarcasm makes no sense. You're saying that you're glad you're not a poster who isn't getting older? You've melted some brains here.
