We’re still about a couple of weeks away from EMA‘s sophomore album, The Future’s Void (due out 4/8 via Matador), but she’s just released another track from it, “3Jane,” named after Lady 3Jane Marie-France Tessier-Ashpool from cyperpunk classic Neuromancer. It’s one of the album’s calmer songs, and following the industrial-leaning single “Satellites” and the grungy “So Blonde,” continues to show how diverse EMA gets on this one. Check it out below.

As discussed, EMA brings her tour to NYC for shows on April 25 at Mercury Lounge and May 9 at Rough Trade, both of which are with Downtown Boys (who play with Priests on Sunday [3/30], and who were just interviewed for Fvck the Media by Priests singer Katie Alice Greer). Before that tour begins though, she’ll squeeze in a smaller NYC show on April 11 at Union Pool. No word on advance tickets or openers yet. Tickets for her other NYC shows are still available.

Coincidentally (?) a band called 3Jane from New Brunswick opens the New Brunswick stop of Priests’ tour.

Updated EMA dates are listed, with the new song stream, below…
