Fleetwood Mac on 'The TODAY Show'
Fleetwood Mac

Though the longest-running and most famous lineup of Fleetwood Mac toured again pretty recently, it was without Christine McVie. However, as rumored a few months ago after Christine briefly joined them on stage for the first time since 1998, she's officially back in the band. All five members -- Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and John McVie (who was recently diagnosed with cancer but says he's getting better) -- appeared on The TODAY Show with Carson Daly this morning (3/27), confirming the reunion. They also mentioned they'd be touring this fall, and that they'll perform at the TODAY plaza in Rockefeller Center on October 9. You can watch the TODAY interview below.

The tour, dubbed "On With The Show,' brings the band to NYC on October 6 at Madison Square Garden and Newark on October 11 at Prudential Center. Tickets for the tour go on sale Monday, April 7 at 10 AM with an AmEx presale starting Monday, March 31 at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

The band also just spoke to People Magazine about the reunion. Christine is happy to be back in the band, and when asked about the drama that plagued the band in the past, she said, "Well, it wouldn't be Fleetwood Mac without a bit of drama, you know. Of course there will be some drama, but for the most part I have to say everyone is getting along really well. At the moment the drama is kind of the fun."

"a gathering of the original 5 members" really ? Is that so hard to fact check or does the Today show realize their audience doesn't care about the real beginnings of Fleetwood Mac

This band always sucked. Pure commercial drivel. I do think Nicks is totally worth a romp in the sack and Go Your Own Way is still cool by me.

You're right 11:12, I probably won't spring for 25 years' worth of cosmetic surgery and Botox.

Posted by Anonymous | March 27, 2014 11:39 AM

11:39- I highly doubt Mick Fleetwood has had plastic surgery or botox. Are you blind? Nicks on the other hand...

I like when Dennis Wilson charged Christie McVie's credit card with a 'surprise' garden. That dude put her in debt and crashed her car! - Love you Denny!

Good old Manson-loving, STD-Spreading Denny! He was the real deal.

70 and still bangable. just needs a little extra lube.

Few people know, "On With The Show" was not the bands first choice.
"Lip Syncing to our best of CD for $200" was rejected when they realized it was probably too many letters to fit on a $50 concert beefy T.

One or two good tunes, that's about it. Blowing coke up a young Stevie Nicks bum must have been a trip.

WOW!!! All you negative people must of had some really insecure, disrespectful, punk ass parenting growing up.. SAD!!! That you all don't even know the band!! or what they are about.. That why you people will never be as famous as Fleetwood Mac... You gotta be some body before you grow hair in your ass.. To even thinkabout sleep in with Stevie nicks... And the comment on the cocaine LOL... Is that all you could come up with.. Only if you really knew.. Hippies?? LOL.. Down ass people is what they are.. Genuine ... Real.. Pure..

Denise, rather than berate those who are not so fortunate as you to already be fans of Fleetwood Mac, why not educate them? Enlighten the ignorant!
