Fu Manchu

It's been kind of a while since Fu Manchu's last delivery, 2009's Signs of Infinite Power. (Their Scion-sponsored 7" split with Moab notwithstanding.) But Scott Hill and company are saddling up for their eleventh studio album -- Gigantoid, which will be self-released on the band's At the Dojo Records on April 29. (That's the cover art above.) Get an early taste via "Anxiety Reducer," the first single from Gigantoid, which makes its premiere in this post. Unsurprisingly, it's vintage Fu -- this particular example hangs out in a Led Zep pocket, but the superfuzzed guitars and Hill's cockeyed vocals provide the post-rip glow that the band have built their career upon. stream it below.

Fu Manchu will also be embarking on a North American tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off the day after the album's release in San Francisco and hits NYC on 5/19 at Mercury Lounge. No supporting bands have been announced yet, but tickets are on sale.

All tour dates are listed, along with the new track stream, below...
