Kate Bush

Kate Bush's looooong-awaited return to the live stage happens with 22 London shows later this year. They went on sale today, and as you might expect for a legendary artist who hasn't played live in 35 years, they sold out instantly (less than 15 minutes, to be exact). FACT now reports that, as you also may expect, scalpers are already selling them on Viagogo, and most are at prices over £1000.

Just wait til the last few days before the event and the prices will plummet.

Happens everytime on StubHub.
I have bought many a sold-out show tickets for LESS than face value.

I've already got a lead on James Murphy as the culprit. Look for a man over 300 pounds.

Fuck scalpers. I recently tried to get tix for a show, but they sold out the day they went onsale...and immediately 300 (out of a ~1000 capacity theater) hit StubHub for 3x face value.

another performer/musician that's big in the UK, but never quite 'broke' in the U.S.

I think my 59 yr old aunt listens to her.

Kate Bush has become hugely popular amongst the bearded, scarved, skinnyjeaned, 180-gram record collecting, vintage fixie-bike idiots.

I woke up at 5am and waiting by my computer till 530am when tickets went onsale. (930 am london time)

I bought two tickets for one show and than tried to buy two more for another show but they were already sold out within 5 mins.

This is going to be so awesome!

She sure has. Still scratching my head over why they so quickly jumped on this band wagon. She's a rite of passage amongst Williamsburg types. Her music is decent but doesn't warrant such high praise.

311 Kate and LCD are both awesome.

Posted by Anonymous | March 29, 2014 1:00 PM

I agree 311 is the awesome--est! Def not all mixed up about that

I doubt if Kate Bush will tour America. If she plays any shows outside England. She will go for countries that have supported her in her career. So..Maybe Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and places such as France and Germany.

^Hey moron,
She is in fact coming here to America, NY and LA specifically, very soon after these dates. Watch and see.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 8:52 AM

Wow I hope I can get tickets. Rich gays will pay out the nose for this.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 9:17 AM

12:01 is my vote for favorite comment.

Hope the NY rumor typed above is true.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 10:23 AM

I have heard she has booked 12 nights in Berlin. Seven in Paris and four in Amsterdam. She will then do four each in Toronto and New York.

Posted by myriadne | April 2, 2014 4:41 AM

I got tickets for 9/19 & 9/20.
Dream come true.
