Keith Richards pens children's book

Keith Richards has time on his side. The Rolling Stones guitarist/skeleton is slated to follow his 2010 autobiography, Life, with another book this year. It’s um… a children’s book called Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar and is due out on September 9 via Little, Brown and Company’s Young Readers division (LBC also handled Life). It’s unsurprisingly Richards’ first foray into writing for kids, and will be a collaboration with his illustrator daughter Theodora Richards. “I have just become a grandfather for the fifth time, so I know what I’m talking about,” Mr. Richards said in a statement.
