Why does being in the military automatically suggest you have terrible taste in music?

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:01 AM

"This tour is in support of our troups"
What kind of BS is that? Def Leppard are not even an american band. And KISS are a bunch of jews.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:01 AM

Why does being in the military automatically suggest you are a "hero?"

odds are they are NOT.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:03 AM

10:01 is sooo excited to write anonymous, hateful things and really hopeful a bunch of people will respond. Well, here you go, I'm one. Hope it fills that empty void in your heart.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:09 AM

LOL @ 10:01

Yeah, because everybody knows that Jews are not real 'Mericans, right Zeke?

Fucking anti-Semitic retard

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:16 AM

All cops and military are heroes. 10:03 has never done anything for the good of the country. I'll go with the cops and military.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:17 AM

Jews and a cripple LolZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:18 AM

Cops and military are brutish ex-jocks who aren't smart enough to do anything else.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:20 AM

this is missing Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, and an arm. Why is this about nationality or religion? can't you see what' smising for what it is and isn't?

Damn lazy commenters. Must be a bunch of.... (see....lazy)

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:22 AM

right on 10:20.

and hate to break it to ya 10:17, but MOST of 'em are criminals and murderers.

but you are right - i've never done anything good for the country (if by that you mean i never killed anyone or denied them their human rights).

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:23 AM

@10:20 - that's an easy stereotype to run with, but you'd be surprised. One active-duty guy I know could make the entire Pitchfork staff look like a bunch of seventh graders being driven by one of their stepmoms to a Toad the Wet Sprocket concert.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:40 AM

KISS = jewboy money grab.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:42 AM

BV Comments = RIGHT/LEFT wing ideologist blog comments. Zero difference.

Real bleeding edge thinkers here.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 10:54 AM

kik*s in satan's service?

Posted by a jew who thinks the supposed anti-semites are funny | March 18, 2014 10:58 AM

There are good cops and bad cops. A lot of spousal abuse. A lot of corruption. A lot of so-called "heroes" collecting ridiculously inflated pensions and disability all on the taxpayers dime.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:08 AM

havent they said they are not playing the hall of fame show?

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:12 AM

10:54 = DEEP

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:22 AM

10:40 - they already look like that

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:27 AM

11:22

Maybe for you

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:36 AM

"There are good cops"

really?

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:45 AM

Someone said fisting?

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:52 AM

Criss? Ace? Eh, Joe Elliot's voice won't be showing up to any of these shows, either.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 11:54 AM

11: 36

umm......No

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 12:15 PM

Kiss isn't playing the Hall of Fame ceremony, you dummies. Do your homework.

jew vs. jew beef

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 1:10 PM

Kashrut Beef

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 1:21 PM

Please refrain from making any references to the "b" word please. It is the Borrklyn VEGAN after all. Repeated violations will result in a mandatory book report on Morrissey's autobiography.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 1:51 PM

^ fuck off

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 2:07 PM

When I read the title I figured they were referring to themselves as heroes of rock 'n' roll.

The military thing seems desperate - if they really want to play for military members why not do shows at military bases for free? I'm unclear on how this tour even benefits military members:

"This tour is in support of our troups[sic] and all military personnel will be given exclusive access to discounted tickets."

Real generous.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 2:14 PM

So Bruce doing a show for Obama was equally useless then, when he could have just given him money. Sorry to say, but some of you people are really dumb as rocks.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 2:20 PM

It is 2014. Fugazi have been inactive for twelve years, and now KISS are the last remaining bastions of integrity in rock music.

Posted by bibber | March 18, 2014 3:14 PM

3:14, that's a little extreme. Surely there are other bastions.

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 4:11 PM

^Black Flag!

Posted by Anonymous | March 18, 2014 4:28 PM

Kiss isn't a band. They're a marketing plan. Surprised they didn't play at SXSW on the Doritos stage!

Posted by yes | March 18, 2014 9:46 PM

All of you hating on KISS can suck it. Seriously, it's just a fun band. If you're in the military and hating on KISS and Gene Simmons, well, you're a bigger douche than most anyway! Hope this is not posted anon.

Posted by Jimmy Vaughn | March 23, 2014 6:58 PM

Hey 2:54PM One dollar of every ticket goes to Gene's wounded warrior fund. Your welcome f@cktard!

Posted by Jimmy Vaughn | March 23, 2014 7:02 PM

KISS blow goats. Worst music EVER except maybe like Bon Jovi or something

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2014 7:18 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 23, 2014 11:26 PM

What happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?"

Posted by Anonymous | March 28, 2014 8:01 AM

Wtf would you all know about being in the military or what is done in the military sitting on your asses enjoying the freedom that SOLDIERS fight for every day you bunch of ignorant pompous jerk off bastards. You are not talking shit on them when they are being shipped off to Afghanistan or Iraq or Where ever to keep the terrorists and people who would otherwise probably be over here killing your stupid unintelligent jerks.

Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2014 10:22 PM

It appears to some that The Heroes Tour is for all veterans but it is mainly for The Wounded Warriors Project. A dollar from each ticket sold goes to that and other military resource centers. I hope those who don't get it and never will get it, now get it. Now go out there and be somebody so those that served can know that you protest because you can, you are free because you are, and you can bitch and moan all you want, because you are American and we did protect those rights at no charge to you. Thank you Kiss and Def Leppard from a Veteran of the United States Army and not at all a hero but just a guy who did my time.

Posted by TerryZ - Veteran | June 22, 2014 7:25 PM

Don't b bad mouthing our country"troops"and the greatest
Band ever KISS! All u haters need some serious help

Posted by C.Gamblin | June 29, 2014 9:01 PM

If it wasn't for the military, you'd all be slaves. It is the military that gives you freedom. Or if you weren't slaves, you'd be dead because terrorists want to kill you to avenge things that the military has done in the past. Have some appreciation. Without us, you'd be dead slaves.
