Migos involved in highway shooting in Florida; Chief Keef questioned about one in Chicago (again) (watch the video)

Atlanta rap trio Migos were in Florida last night for a show, and apparently after things didn’t go as planned, the group was involved in a shootout on I-95. WSVN 7 News reports (via FACT):

FHP Trooper Joe Sanchez said the group just left a local nightclub and were on their way back to their hotel on South Beach when shots rang out. “They were supposed to be performing at Cafe Iguanas in Broward and apparently for whatever reason there was an altercation or disagreement with management and they didn’t perform, so as they were driving southbound on I-95, according to the witnesses in the van, a dark vehicle pulled along side them and opened fire,” said Sanchez. “A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun and he returned fire.”

One of the passengers in Migos’ van was shot, wounded and is now at Jackson Memorial Hospital. It’s not clear if the victim was a member of Migos or not, and his condition is still unknown to the public.

UPDATE: Migos commented on the situation on twitter, saying “A lot of fuck niggas tried to take my life. But I keep that thang on me so you betta think twice” and “Tried To Hit Me Up In Traffic??…. But I Had To Work My Magic.”

Migos last released the No Label 2 mixtape this past February, which you can stream below.

In other rapper/shooting news, Chief Keef, who has been accused of this stuff before, was questioned earlier this week by police about a shooting at his manager’s house in Northfield, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Watch a video of police questioning him over at WGN TV.
