Pujol (aka Nashville resident Daniel Pujol) will release their new album, Kludge, on May 20 via Saddle Creek. The first single from the record is the rocking "Pitch Black," which has a nice late '70s groove to it and you can stream it below. Album art and tracklist are below too.

While there hasn't been a tour announced in full, Pujol do have a few dates lined up, including one in NYC at Mercury Lounge on May 24. Tickets for that show go on sale today (3/28) at noon. The other announced dates are all opening for Detroit Cobras. All dates are listed below.

Remember when people cared about JEFF the Brotherhood? Eventually all those Nashville bands just become like Jack White: middling and boring.

I don't mind a lot of the Nashville bands, but the descriptions of this guy's music have always far outweighed the actual music.

this music is good, nothing new or groundbreaking..

but is this concept a fucking joke? come on dude, have some self respect. You act like your on to something new, these idea's have been discussed. The best bet is to shut the fuck up, and just play some of the good songs you have.
