You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Turin Brakes, Butchers Blind @ The Mercury Lounge
Long-running Britpop duo Turin Brakes have always kept things on the more low-key folky side, only indulging in sweeping anthemicism occasionally. Tickets are still available.

Geryon, Vampillia, Colin Marston, Mossenek @ Death By Audio
It’s another NYC show this week for Boredoms-related Japanese band Vampillia, and like all of the shows they’re doing here, they’ll be joined by a great, experimental-minded lineup.

Conveyor, Cult & Leper, The Top, Harpoon Forever @ Baby’s All Right
Conveyor can be a bit bipolar — the Brooklyn-based band often keep things lovely and acoustic, but their recent GOLD 7″ finds them rocking out ’70s style. Stream it below. This is their first local show in a while.

Dropkick Murphys, Lucero, Skinny Lister @ Starland Ballroom
It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day week without shows from Dropkick Murphys, and this year they’ve got shows in NJ tonight and Long Island tomorrow. If you’re going, be sure to catch their country punk tourmates Lucero too.

Lorde, Lo-Fang @ Roseland Ballroom
The popular Lorde kicks off her sold-out three-night run at the soon-to-close Roseland Ballroom with support from the 4AD-signed Lo-Fang.

Night Train @ Littlefield
Tonight, Wyatt Cenac’s weekly Night Train comedy show will be guest hosted by Jean Grae and Josh Gondelman. Guests include Emily Heller, Joe Zimmerman, Jena Friedman, Claudia Cogan, Lafayette Wright and more.
