Belle & Sebastian?

Why are they on every single festival list?

I truly don't understand.

Can they even fill the Bowery Ballroom?

^weird thing to complain about. Would rather have a great band that can't fill Bowery Ballroom than Lorde, Foster the People and Zedd

Pretty sure they filled Prospect Park last summer. You fool.

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2014 9:14 AM

Hell yeah Mike and the FRIGGIN MOONPIES!!!

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2014 9:19 AM

Stronger ACL lineup than last year.

How about Blake Sennet (Night Terrors of 1927) and Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley both being on the bill...

i liked eminem more when he acted black. now he's kinda of a white guy and that annoys me.

???????????

What other festival list are they on because I'd like to see them !

The sold out Prospect Park and Williamsburg waterfront last times in NYC area.. those hold like 6000 ??

Maybe you are thinking of another band or are just stupid or maybe both..

Only on Brooklyn Vegan would you find hordes of hipsters defending Belle & Sebastian. YUCK

The only thing worse than Belle & Sebastian is Phish.

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2014 10:05 AM

@10:05 Agreed

Phish, Belle & Sebastian, String Cheese Incident, Grimes and Dave Matthews Band should throw a festival; Shitchella Festival in Ridgewood, NJ.

All you Brooklyn Vegan peeps would go

cool story, bro

Posted by Anonymous | April 22, 2014 10:16 AM

Why the fuck doesn't The Replacements play a NYC show!?!

Watch, they'll end up playing some stupid bumble-fuck festival in AZ next.

Everytime I've heard B&S I've always felt like I should be having a bubble bath.

Such an awful band.

I've got Ralph's World to headline Night 16 of City Fest 2014.

I hope the people who attend have fun at this!

Yet another weaksauce lineup this year. The only two decent festivals are Governors Ball and Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo will be a standout festival this year just by not booking Outkast alone. Check out my review of the ACL Festival lineup along with other music festival reviews at http://www.wevebeentherebefore.com. Also, rankings of the major music fests and a music festival calculator that determines best festival by quality, depth and value for you. Get it.

I've always considered ACL an indie fest, but if that's true this is the collective worst group of headliners ever. At least the lower tier groups have something to offer.

Still going, but will be well rested by not having to see a couple of the headliners!

Love it! Looking forward to seeing them
