As previously mentioned, veteran emo band Braid are releasing a new album on Topshelf Records this year, their first full length since 1998’s Frame & Canvas and the followup to their 2011 reunion EP, Closer to Closed. Since we last spoke, more details on that have surfaced, including that it’s called No Coast and will be out on July 8. It was produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Paint It Black). Check out the artwork and tracklist below.

Braid are also touring (including shows with Into It. Over It. and Pity Sex), but unfortunately not hitting NYC. Co-frontman Bob Nanna is going on a solo tour with Get Up Kids singer Matt Pryor that hits NYC on May 9 at Knitting Factory though. Tickets for that one are still available. All Braid dates are listed below.

This Braid news follows recent reunion show announcements from American Football and Mineral, plus new music from The Jazz June and Sunny Day Real Estate.

Braid is not to be confused with Canadian indie pop band Braids, who just released an outtake from 2013’s Flourish // Perish. That song, “Deep Running,” can be streamed below. Braids are opening Wye Oak‘s tour which kicks off in Pennsylvania this Friday (5/2) and hits NYC on 5/7 at Webster Hall (tickets).
