Dances

Originally a songwriting outlet for Trevor Vaz, he soon recruited a bassist and drummer, morphing into Dances. The Brooklyn trio will release their debut EP, Whiter Sands, next week via Black Bell Records (home of Honduras and Total Slacker). The band make scuzzpop not unlike Wavves and we’ve got the premiere of the video for their garagey stormer, “Rat,” in this post.

Dances will play NYC’s Pianos on May 10 which is part of a Black Bell Records night that also features Honduras, Slonk Donkerson, Painted Zeros and The Gradients. Tickets are on sale.
