Coachella 2014

The first weekend of Coachella 2014 is underway as we speak. If you're there, you probably already know who you're seeing (but if not, here's the set times), and if you're at home you can stream many of the sets live starting today (4/11) at 6:30 PM EST.

The stream is being hosted at Coachella's YouTube channel and sets that will stream today include Outkast, The Cult, Bryan Ferry, Broken Bells, Haim, The Afghan Whigs, GOAT, A$AP Ferg, Dum Dum Girls, Wye Oak and more.

Sets that stream on Saturday include Pharrell, MGMT, QOTSA, Pixies, Future Islands, Ty Segall and more; and on Sunday there's Disclosure, Arcade Fire, Nas, Beck, Little Dragon, Darkside, Blood Orange and more. The full streaming schedule is at the YouTube page as well.

UPDATE: Check out our pictures from day one.

Hey do the celebs they paid to show up this weekend, also get paid to show up next weekend as well.

What a stupid fucking festival

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 5:04 PM

This is a festival filled with sun and hot young girls. Why would it be on here? This is a place for pale young gentlemen doing pale young cute city stuff. People drive cars to this...

This festival is full of shirtless bros with their sunglasses on the back of their heads and cargo shorts. The only people that know, much less care, about the music, are the industry vampires backstage.

People. PEOPLE! This one will be different. That, my friends, I can promise. Please seek out The Table. We will be streaming, well, sorta streaming, "playing" I meant, old KCMY broadcasts with free plates of hummus, chips from that new place on the LES, and of course, the party wouldn't be complete without The Chef's famous medium-rare cooked Billyburgers. Also, tomorrow and tomorrow only, we'll be giving out signed photos og Jonny's Tele. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

Darkside rules.

Is it me or does HAIM sound like the background music for bad romantic comedies from the 80's? How did they get to be part of the indie cool kids?

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 6:26 PM

^. #COTD Yes. Yesss. YES!

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 6:51 PM

I must concur with 6:26pm. HAIM does sound all that and more. However, friend, keep in mind that if you are referencing that magical, musical decade known as the 1980s, you're gonna wanna use '80s and not 80's. That is, unless you are actually intending to reference some magical group known as 80 and you are giving said group possession of something. You would then certainly reference 80's. Got it? Get it. Good.

Thank you, mate.

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 6:56 PM

Is that correct re: 80s vs '80s? good one

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 7:32 PM

City boyz love the rhetorical cutey-pie jibe. "Is it me?" or "Can we all agree..."

That's cityspeak. The problem is the poontang in that damned city is so work focused you city boyz are frustrated. You need to save up and buy yourselves cars. Then you can pick gals up!

Posted by Mr. Foot Fetish | April 11, 2014 7:36 PM

Yes, it is correct. Think of it like this: the ' is filling in for 19. So you can say 1980s or you can say '80s. Giving possession to something is completely different. As in, HAIM's sound sucks.

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 7:39 PM

80s, you're cute

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 8:24 PM

^ mmm, no. you can haz sorry? do some homework, friend. you're 100% incorrect. and, a bitch for not using a period.

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 8:56 PM

Mr. F, do you live in NJ?

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2014 9:31 PM

I stand corrected. Going forward, I will refer to that wonderful decade as the '80s.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 12:55 AM

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 1:35 AM

No Mats on the stream. Fuck that garbage.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 6:17 AM

Outkast sucks live.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 8:43 AM

^Agreed, they were really boring last night

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 9:10 AM

If using proper grammar makes me gay, I don't want to be straight.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 10:32 AM

^it doesn't make you gay it just makes you a fa''g'ot''t't't't't't't't't't

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 11:43 AM

Wow. Way to go, BV. Looks like you've picked up the ignorant, bigot and homophobic stream on this site. Congrats.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 12:09 PM

>^it doesn't make you gay it just makes you a fa''g'ot''t't't't't't't't't't

What? Are you five? I would so pay money to watch you speak like this in public. Poor thing. They don't really have any outlets for your special kind of ignorance, do they? I hope you score really well on whatever video game is keeping you busy this weekend while you're in the basement. Just please remember, mom worked really hard on heating up your microwave dinner. Please, eat your vegetables this time so you can get dessert.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 12:33 PM

Friend, calm down.
Anger is not what we need right now.
Get a hold of yourself.
Get into some meditation.
Overcome the ignorance you encountered.
Take it easy.
Sip some tea.

12:33 gets his comebacks from a fifth grade teacher.

12:09 relax, pal. we've all sucked a cock or two. have fun once in a while.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 1:39 PM

^ Case in point, BV. Congratulations ...

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 1:43 PM

^you've definitely smoked a pole, bruh. no need to get all uptight about it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 1:46 PM

12:33 why do you love watching people say homophobic slurs in public? that's an odd thing to love...

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 1:54 PM

^ Please learn to capitalize when you construct sentences. Also, you should have a comma after the date. You're referencing that as my name, and it needs a comma following it. Thank you.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 2:32 PM

> Get into some meditation.

Is that like getting into a car?

Oh, and fuck tea. Espresso. Neat. Bitch.

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 3:28 PM

Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2014 10:19 PM

Coachella is keeping the spirit of music alive! Gives me hope for the future.

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2014 9:00 AM

I really like most of the acts but there is something about the vibe of Coachella that it comes off as a pretentious affair.

Posted by dirkjirky | April 13, 2014 8:10 PM

I really wish Tanya and the Hardings were playing this year.

Posted by dirkjirky | April 13, 2014 8:14 PM

I've watched this at least 100 times
