Iron Chic

Earlier this month, Long Island punks Iron Chic wrapped up their North American tour in support of last year's great The Constant One, and next week they'll cross the Atlantic to support it in Europe. Before then though, Iron Chic will squeeze in one more NYC show this weekend. They open the previously discussed World/Inferno Friendship Society show happening at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday (4/19), which also includes Philly's Bad Doctors. Tickets for Saturday's show are still available. All dates are listed below.

In related news, Iron Chic bassist Mike Bruno's other band Crow Bait released another song from their upcoming debut album, Sliding Through the Halls of Fate, which comes out on May 20 via Don Giovanni. The new song, "The Ocean," shows the band's alt-country influences a lot more strongly than last single "83," and it can be streamed below.

All Iron Chic dates are listed, with a video of them at The Fest and the new Crow Bait song, below...

I like it a lot! Melody, clear vocals, lots of energy. Reminiscent of Husker Du and early Replacements but not a copy. Will check it out.
