Temples @ Coachella last weekend (more by Dana [distortion] Yavin)
Temples

Hudson River Park's River Rocks returns to Pier 84 this summer for three Thursdays of free outdoor shows. The 2014 lineup leans decidedly Anglophilic: Wild Beasts (who were in NYC not that long ago) and Mutual Benefit will play on July 10; then it's Scotland's Teenage Fanclub (on their way to Merge 25, their first NYC show in four years) will play on July 24; and then on August 7 it's UK psych-pop combo Temples. Openers for the second two shows are still TBA. All River Rocks shows are free and all-ages. Doors open at 6 PM.

Its a shame that only one band played during the festival. I'm not saying that they're not good, its just that it could've been more fun with many more.
