SLINT

As previously discussed, post-rock/post-hardcore legends SLINT are going on their first US tour since 2007 this year, which brings the band to NYC on 5/4 at Bowery Ballroom and 5/6 at MHOW. Those shows have both sold out, but the band have added a THIRD NYC show happening at new-ish Brooklyn venue The Wick on May 5. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/4) at 10 AM.

The tour also hits NJ on 4/30 at The Stone Pony, and tickets for that one are still available. Updated dates are listed below...

Never been a big fan, but I'd go just for The Wick. Great space, check it out. Maybe they'll even have the bathrooms open by then!

perhaps some people would prefer a justin beiber or miley cyrus show. ok they won't be playing songs off one of the most brilliant albums ever recorded, but they won't just stand there so you won't be bored.

a whole five minutes of life wasted while they figure out complicated tunings for songs with sick math-y structures?

that would never happen at a brittany spears show, go there instead to avoid anything demanding of an iota of thought or patience.
