Posting before D arrives.

Good lineup. However, Title Fight not only playing above Blacklisted, but headlining over everyone on Saturday, perplexes me. Why do people continue to give credit to this shitty pop punk band? Theyre terrible, and BL has only ever had the last slot on a TIH maybe once, and they've played every year.

Also, The Explosion is a reunion that no one ever asked for.

D and I give it a 6.7

But, Greg from Trial juggling for a half an hour, you guys.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 12:43 PM

But will they allow re entry?

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 12:46 PM

There are so many bands that were playing in 1995 on this.

That...wasn't a great year for hardcore.

12:31, Title Fight playing last means I don't have to sit through them to get to a set I wanna see.

If City Fest 2014 gets Nails I'll be there. I'm up for best adult roommates late night conversation. Vote for me.

In standup comedy, the "headliner" always goes in the middle of the lineup, so why do bands still not know how miserable it is to have to wait til the end of the night after being exhausted from standing for 3-4 hours? If anything the "headliner" should go first and the new band no one cares about should go last. Especially in hardcore, the crowd energy is always really high at the start of a show, and by the time the last band goes on half the crowd is gone.

there is seriously nothing more ridiculous then a bunch of in the closet dudes sweatin it up together and pretending they are there to "mosh"!!! get a grip boys and just start wearing the rainbow.

Is it like a magic eye logo?

D approves.

Wow, two strikes. Tons of HC bros and it takes place in Philly?! Yikes! I'd rather live in Ohio for the rest of my life than go to Philly. That place is a shit hole.

1:22- More ridiculous than in the closet posters projecting such feelings on others?

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 2:27 PM

1:15- There is an amazing solution to such an issue. Show up later.

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 2:28 PM

This thing is sponsored by Noisey this year, by the way. If that isn't a sign that the trend seeker sites are really milking the shit out of these bands for their own gain, then I don't know what is.

Seems like folks turn into things
That they'd never want
The only thing to live for is today
I'm going to put a hole in my TV set
I don't wanna grow up
Open up the medicine chest
And I don't wanna grow up
I don't wanna have to shout it out
I don't want my hair to fall out
I don't wanna be filled with doubt
I don't wanna be a good boy scout
I don't wanna have to learn to count
I don't wanna have the biggest amount
I don't wanna grow up

Posted by Anonymous | April 1, 2014 2:51 PM

coke bust and hounds of hate are the only good bands playing

fury of five what a joke

Posted by Anonymous | April 6, 2014 3:34 PM

Anybody complaining about this fest or fury of five are punks. You people are the reason hardcore bands don't want to play in this country bunch of whiny punks.

Posted by don't matter | April 6, 2014 8:46 PM

The first 3 days of his fest are total garbage. I can't believe they actually thought this was a good idea.

Every year since they got sheer terror has been worse than the year before, seriously who the fuck would book killswitch engage, converge, dropdead or unearth. It's proof that hardcore has gone to shit.
