Titus Andronicus at Terminal 5 in 2013 (more by David Andrako)
Titus

NYU's annual Strawberry Festival is back for its 29th year with a typically great lineup of NJ punks Titus Andronicus and Connecticut emo collective The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die. Also on the bill is Rozwell Kid and For Everest. This year's fest happens on May 9 on LaGuardia Place between W 3rd St. and Washington Square South from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. "Many aspects of the event are restricted to those with an NYU ID, but the concert is all ages, open and free to the public."

Titus will play NYC after that during the Northside Festival on June 12 at Warsaw with Eagulls and Low Fat Getting High (tickets).

I hate that part of my tuition goes towards funding program board's events.

Wild that the person calling NYU students entitled brats probably doesn't have a job idk why they're so upset. I mean like...I think making dumb comments on BV bars you from working

Wonderful and unique poster, i wonder which aspects of the event are restricted and requires an NYU ID? anyone?

Posted by Andie | April 25, 2014 7:02 AM

They set up a stage on laguardia place between WSP south and 3rd st. There's a pen that you'll need an NYU ID to get inside, but everything's visible/audible from outside it.

@andie, the event has giveaways/food/games which aren't open to the public. you can 100% get into the gated festival area where the show is held without an ID
