Trophy Scars

As previously discussed, NJ's Trophy Scars have a new album, Holy Vacants, due out on May 6 in North America via Montreme Records (pre-order) and they've just given the video treatment to one of its singles, "Archangel." Like the rest of the album, it's very far removed from the post-hardcore of the band's early days, and instead favors progressive rock and Tom Waits-y growls. The video simultaneously tells a pretty dark, trippy story while splicing in clips of the band performing. It makes its premiere in this post and you can watch it below.

As mentioned, Trophy Scars also have two release shows for the new album, including 5/3 at Mexicali Live in NJ with Those Mocking Birds, Science and Netty Rose; and 5/10 at Slake in NYC with The Venetia Fair (tickets).

Pre-city boyz have seen it all. What they lack in cocksmanship they make up for in cuteness. Give a pre-city boy'z cheek a squeeze at CityFest 2014.
