You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Real Estate, Pure X @ Webster Hall
Real Estate’s new album, Atlas, is a great spring listen which makes their two sold-out NYC shows this weekend with tourmates Pure X all the more enticing.

Perfect Pussy, Tumul, Green Dreams @ Mercury Lounge
Perfect Pussy’s solid debut album is out now, but it’s really all about the live show where this intense noise punk band really shines. This is their second of two sold-out NYC shows this weekend.

Holy Ghost! @ Baby’s All Right
As a warm up to Coachella, DFA mainstays Holy Ghost! are playing two NYC shows, this being second. Sold out!

Ash, Run River North, Golden Suits, Drop Electric @ Brooklyn Night Bazaar
Irish trio Ash made some of the hookiest guitar pop of the ’90s and — “Girl From Mars,” “Oh Yeah,” “Goldfinger” — and are one of the more underappreciated bands of that era. Here’s a great chance to check ’em out…for free!

Porter Ricks, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Miles, Leisure Muffin, Ital & Halal, Le Petit Garcon @ The Wick
Unsound Festival continues tonight with veteran duo Porter Ricks, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (aka drone musician Lichens), Miles (of Demdike Stare), the new collaborative project of Brooklyn regulars Ital & Aurora Halal, and more. Unsound Fest also includes the Rondo show at BAMcinématek tonight.

Dean Wareham, Carsick Cars, The Vacant Lots @ Bowery Ballroom
While mainly associated with the guitar, indie rock vet Dean Wareham brings vintage keyboards to the mix on his new solo album. It works so well we wonder why he didn’t dabble in this sooner. Tonight’s show is with Bejiing band Carsick Cars and Vermont psych combo The Vacant Lots.

La Misma, Good Throb, Priests, Nuclear Spring, Exit Order @ Death by Audio
If you couldn’t get tickets to Perfect Pussy’s Mercury Lounge show tonight, but still need your fix of intense punk, DbA is the place to be. (Not that that’s the only reason worth going.) This bill is stacked, with political DC punks Priests, their UK tourmates Good Throb, Boston’s rapid-fast Exit Order, and two local bands: La Misma and Nuclear Spring, the latter of which is one of NYC’s most underrated punk bands at the moment.

Doug Gillard, Casper & The Cookies, Lame Drivers @ Cake Shop
Doug Gillard’s CV is impeccable, having logged time in Guided by Voices, Nada Surf, My Dad is Dead to name three. His his forthcoming solo album, Parade On, is an equally impressive array of sparkling powerpop. Georgia’s hyperactive Caspar & the Cookies open.

Kastle, Druid Cloak, Figgy, Alex English @ Slake
Kastle’s futuristic remix of Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” was one of the finest remixes of its kind last year, and his original material always impresses as well.

Despise You, Full of Hell, DRAIZE, Chainsaw To The Face, Mother Brain @ Saint Vitus
Tonight’s the second of two shows for powerviolence legends Despise You, and it’s a doubly good one because the insane Full of Hell are never to miss.

Fat White Family, GOASTT, Jeffrey Lewis, Jon Spencer (DJ) @ The Acheron
After wreaking havoc in NYC a couple weekends ago, the UK rock n’ roll twister that is Fat White Family have one show for us before they head home, a Brooklyn iteration of their London party Slide. Sean Lennon’s GOASTT and Jeffrey Lewis are on board, and Jon Spencer will be your DJ for the evening. Expect a wild, perhaps nudity-filled, evening.

Miley Cyrus, Icona Pop, Sky Ferreira @ Barclays Center
For better or for worse, Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop have certainly gained some indie cred, which could potentially make it seem strange that they’re touring with Miley. But if you live in a universe where “You’re Not the One” and “I Love It” sound out of place on a playlist next to “Wrecking Ball,” you live in a different universe than us.

Prancing Elites, Kelela, Total Freedom, Dutch E Germ @ Red Bull Studios
R&B singer Kelela just wrapped up two sold-out shows at Rough Trade NYC, and tonight she plays a third show for the DISown party at Red Bull Studios (220 West 18th St). 6 PM start.
