M.I.A. at Terminal 5 in 2013 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)

It was announced that M.I.A.'s tour would hit NYC for two nights with A$AP Ferg at The Knockdown Center (5/8 & 5/9) in Queens, however night 1 (5/8) has been cancelled. All tickets purchased for that night will be honored on night 2 (5/9). We're also giving away a few pairs of of tickets to the May 9 show. Details on how to enter to win, below.

The night after the Queens show, M.I.A. teams up with Solange for a sold out Webster Hall show (5/10), which is part of the two-day Vulture Festival which goes down in NYC this weekend.

Ticket sales a little weak, eh? MIA hasn't done anything edgy enough lately to remind people that she exists.

Mother's Day must be crazy in the Big Apple. No one's getting cheap brunch tickets that day. Brooklyn Industries will also be packed.

why not go with the "M.I.A. Show Cancelled" headline?

Seems like that's the bigger news?

Fuck Ticketweb. If the show gets cancelled, update the information, get the public listings updated, and properly direct us to a refund. Don't dick us over. It's a show cancellation, you've been around for years.

Fuck Ticketweb.

i believe you didn't Google it but ask 10 people on the street to name one and you might get one. my point being that lots of artist's reputations and media presence precede their art.
